Based on everything I heard about it I was a bit disappointed.
The atmosphere was good, the building is nice, the welcome was very good, the initial service was prompt, and the food was very good. However I would expect this when paying double the prices that you would be paying at other very nice restaurants.
Where they really fell apart was once the meal was served it was the last that we would see of the waiter & waitress. To ordering extra water & wine took ages, getting a desert menu took a long time, it was difficult to get anyone’s attention. We had to go out of our way to get the bill, and then again chase them to come and take payment.
During our time in Barcelona, we went to better restaurants, had better meals at better prices.
