Attended (Sept 09) as a "special night" on trip prior to wedding. Seven female attendees, comprising four law enforcement professionals and a Spanish translator - all graduates, mother of bride, mother of groom. Quiet and restrained group. Five hundred Euros paid for an adequate meal. Requested two bottles of wine but told that only champagne was available, wine was available in another area of the restaurant. At this point things went horribly wrong. A large male member of staff refused entry because the bride was wearing a “bride to be” veil, as she had been all evening. At our request, the manager was summoned his reply in English and Spanish was “I don’t care”. When it was pointed out that no less than five members of staff had served us without comment he again replied “I don’t care” When the fluent Spanish speaker complained about his attitude she was physically intimidated by no less than four “bouncers”. Avoid this place.
