Shoko Beach Front Restaurant
your comments review this restaurant
Just a story that tells how little a client feels in this place which continues to exist thanks to PR, marketing and the nearby beach...but not thanks to quality (i live in BCN and this is more and more aknowledged that this place is a rip off)
As we had dinner there, the waiter poured a full glass of red wine on my immaculate white trousers and textile purse. Huge and smelly stains everywhere.
Not only did he ignore me when i was trying to clean off the best I could, but he left without any comment or excuse, incredible!
As I was furious, he just let me know he would do me the favour to take the glass of wine out of the bill.
Too generous! The cleaning costs will be around €20!
He said to me that any discount would be taken out of his salary but of course if I still wanted to take this glass free, I could (with the guiltyness that comes with, between the lines). What an attitude...
I then asked to see the manager, who just considered he had no time for his clients, he never came.
Too busy, too lazy, too coward, who knows.
His subordinate tried the best he could to convince me that the offer was very kind of them.
Finally water and the dawn glass of wine were the only concession made, and I left the restaurant in my dirty wine-stained trousers and purse, without any word of excuse.
This tells a lot about how this people value their client.
There are plenty of great restaurants in Barcelona, so i would like to wish you a better one than the Shoko.
Thanks for your attention.
