Cal Pep

I love this tapas bar. It is very popular, so arrive before it opens at 7pm or prepare to queue. We arrived at 7.05pm and the line was already to the door. However queuing is half the fun. The friendly staff will serve you drinks while you queue, and you get to watch the way the staff manage a queue that seems to have no order as it snakes up and down the thin tapas bar.

The owner served us himself and offered to keep feeding us until we said stop. What an offer! The food kept coming - really fresh seafood and shellfish - everything cooked infront of you. I recommend it to everyone who visits Barcelona.
